Things are starting to move since the Silk Road online bust. Dealers felt safe using the marketplace in the past but not today, several arrests are being made by the DEA and more to come.

We already know that the notorious online drug dealing platform Silk road’s owner Dread Pirate Roberts was arrested. Well, the arrests don’t end there. It’s been sometime since Silk road went down with a crash and now the FBI seizure of its records is yielding arrests. Four individuals in Oregon are facing charges of selling crystal methamphethamine through Silk road. If you ask somebody a year ago whether its a smart idea to buy and sell drugs through a website, chances are, they would tell you that it was smart because you are doing it through Silk road. After all, silk road was using all sorts of fancy ways to avoid getting detected and to avoid sales getting tracked. Well, the smart money failed this time. You should have followed common sense and just not bought drugs online.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, the FBI seized boat load of documents and we are sure that they will start using these documents to conduct further investigations. More arrests are on the way. Just thow much more? well, think of it this way, at its peak the Silk road was facilitating millions of dollars in online drug sales. Do the math. It’s gonna be mind boggling the number of people that will be arrested due to this websites closure. We wouldn’t be surprised if many of the players that use to move illegal drugs through Silk road have either relocated, changed their identities or done something drastic to drop out of the radar. Make no mistake about it. It’s gonna be ugly.
