Avant Browser is a Web Browser Software for Windows created by Publisher Avant Force.
Avant Browser Free and Available in Multiple Languages
The brainchild of Chinese programmer, Anderson Che, the Avant Browser seeks to become better than the popular Internet Explorer from Microsoft. The Avant Browser is a fusion of Windows and the Trident layout engine. Being a freeware web browser, the Avant Browser has quietly spread to more than 22.5 million users by November of 2008 according to Wikipedia. This particular browser can still increase in distribution as it is now available in 41 languages.
Avant Browser Summary
The Avant Browser has been designed to become a more ergonomic and more flexible version of Internet Explorer. The developers attempt to do this by using the same layout engine as Internet Explorer while incorporating inspiration from the Opera browser's multitab interface. The Opera web browser is the first one to make use of a multiple document interface, thus improving the ergonomic factor of web browsers. Anderson Che, however, was not just looking at the features of other web browsers but was also focused on incorporating users’ requests. This resulted to the Avant Browser being one of the first ever browsers to contain pop-up blockers and one-click disabling of scripts that could be potential security breaches.
Avant Browser Features
Che also wanted the Avant Browser to contain more features than previous browsers. The web browser does come with a lot of Internet Explorer tools. There is even a Google Search. In fact, the browser has a search bar that already directs towards the various search engines available over the Internet. The browser also accommodates 15 languages for easy translation and allows for bookmark setting. Avant Browser is also equipped with some virus and malware detectors. It can block such unwanted items. The browser can also preserve the privacy of the user by allowing the wiping out of searched and viewed items from the history.
Avant Browser User Interface
The user interface of the Avant Browser is enriched with several tools and features. Despite this fact, the interface remains user-friendly. The browser’s tabbed interface can be customized according to the user’s needs and preferences. The user can actually customize the browser in such a way that each tab will display a progress bar. He or she can also set up the browser to keep multiple home pages and to restore pages that were open during a crash.
Avant Browser Review
The Avant Browser has been designed with an enriched interface in mind. In that area, the browser has been generally successful. There are still a lot of things that can be done with the interface, however. The very browser itself can already block pop ups and malware, protecting the computer. There is also a way to secure the privacy of the user and to save the pages that were open during a system crash. The Avant Browser’s user interface may be packed but it is also easy to use. This may be partly because of the ergonomic features that make navigation a breeze. Beyond the mere interface, the browser is also feature-packed, as was intended by Anderson Che.
It is also good to know that the combination of the Trident layout engine and the Opera inspiration is excellent. The combination of ergonomic Opera layout, expected web browser features, top-notch security tools and other user-pleasing features, the Avant Browser proves to be a competent addition to the world of Internet surfing. The Internet tool may still require some improvement in some areas but the fact that the developers are willing to accept user requests when brainstorming for new features is a positive one. The Avant Browser aims to please. The brains behind the web browser may have to up the speed of their product if they want to match their claims of it being the fastest browser available.
