Cyberduck is a client for File Transfer Protocol, SFTP, Cloud Files, WebDAV, Amazon S3 and Google Docs that is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS with GPL license. Programmed using Java language, Cyberduck also uses the user interface called Cocoa.
Cyberduck supports File Transfer Protocol secured over SSL/TLS or what is simply known as FTP/TLS. Using the cocoa application, users interacts with its GUI by a simple drag and drop command. Its notifications come via Growl. Cyberduck is also capable of opening most external editor files.

Once users connect to the remote server, browsing Cyberduck can be just as simple as accessing hard drives. Files, as well as folders, all come in a neat list and opening them would only require double-clicking. In terms of downloading, it also requires double-clicking. Cyberduck also offers the QuickLook features, which allows users preview the file first before opening. Generally, the interface is so simple; it looks like it is made for amateurs and not for professional developers.

Users need not worry since it is recently updated and is now more refined and functional. Cyberduck is recommended as a basic but well-designed FTP browser. It is a simple and solid solution to file-sharing problems.
