Aside from these features, the CuteFTP Professional also allows you to automatically finish scheduled transfers efficiently, backup and synchronize your sites securely, monitor local files and folders, view remote image thumbnails, and work with multiple sites at once. The software supports several codes or ciphers including TripleDES, BlowFish and TwoFish. It can also do on-the-fly compressions and supports .zip, .gzip and .cab files, which can be a convenient feature for anyone.

Of course, there are also disadvantages in using this program. First, it has very few directory tools. Second, it does not support as many proxies as other FTP clients. Third, it surprisingly does not have a turbo transfer feature. Fourth, it is only available for Windows and Mac. And lastly, this program has less verification methods, which are really important since FTPs are known to have several security weaknesses.
