I like Thunderbird more and more recently. I've liked it since I first began using it several years ago but in the past few months, the updates have made it even better.

The tag system is probably my favorite feature. You can use the default tags (including colors) or change them to your own specs. You can also add more tags - as far as I can tell there is no limit. Great way to organize things and to be able to sort my inbox and other folders.

Thunderbird is not a bad email software but I do find some things a bit clunky in the interface. I don't care for Outlook and using gmail wasn't working really well this past summer, so I downloaded Thunderbird on the recommendation of a friend. Once I figured things out, I added all my domain emails to Thunderbird so I could have everything in one place.

Overall, it does work decently but I find the documentation to be lacking in that a lot of the little details are not explained well at all. I would also like to see things a bit more customizable as when you are dealing with a number of domains, the sidebar menu gets really long and hard to find things.

The price is right, of course – who doesn't like free? And it does have some handy features such as the tag ability and the ability to edit the titles/colors of each tag as well as add your own. It's not a perfect software but it does update frequently so that is a plus as it seems to get better bit by bit.
