I am using windows XP and few days ago, I had pasted an image (scrap) from a .doc file into desktop. After that all my desktop icons became change with icon label with blue background. I have searched in internet and as par the instruction I have changed in the following section to recover.

(My computer properties)System Properties->Advanced->Settings(performance)->Visual effects(tab)

and checked the "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". But nothing changed.
Any suggestion to recover icons to defaults (label with transparent background) will be appreciable. Thanks.
