Before, I use AVG, but it ate a lot of my resources and it cannot detect USB virus, I change my anti-virus to Avira Antivir. I feel more secured with antivir.
Avira Antivir gets excellent results in the VB100 tests, and there's a free version. That's what i use.
Well there are many anti virus in the market but kaspersky is the best for xp.
Well, as far as security for your Windows XP is concerned I've got no problems with Avira Antivirus. It's really useful and you'll be free of virus, most of all i love it due to its free version.
Well for me, I am using McAfee Antivirus.I used AVG Free Edition before I change to McAfee as AVG is not that secure for me.
Well,
The best anti-virus for xp is Avira, I currently use avira great. is there something better in therms of protection.
i use symatec, though other are not happy i like how it workS!
Avira is by far the best in the free anti-virus market. Maximum PC recently did a review comparing 8 Av's and free Avira came out on top with the highest detection rating.
NOD32 and Kaspersky are also very good anti-virus if you want to pay. They are both excellent.
