Prefetch Directory

WindowsXP has a feature called Prefetch. This keeps a shortcut to recently used programs.
However it can fill up with old and obsolete programs.
To clean this periodically go to:
Star / Run / Prefetch
Press Ctrl-A to highlight all the shorcuts
Delete them

better use a simple software like cCleaner.
Its free to use.
and it does this and many other works efficiently without any worries.

does this have anything to do with pagefile?
I have posted about a pagefile error that i get. can i fix using it?
