software for converting to .3gp

I've been looking for some software that will convert most video file formats to .3gp. just fancied being able to put something on my phone for the commute to work, possibly even a film. I've looked around but i'm currently unwilling to fork out for some software until i've actually had a decent look at it and made sure its worth paying for. has anyone tried this and have used some software they can recommend?

It's called free 3gp video converter by dvdvideosoft.

It seems it only supports vista and xp at the moment.
