I would definitely agree. Many people are turned off because of softwares that cost money. There are many other softwares out there that are absolutely free so they wonder to themselves why they should pay when they could use other softwares that are free.

There are many people who would prefer to download a free software rather than purchase a software. Why? It's because they wouldn't have to spend money on it, and it may be better than the paid software.

Well, i really love all that is free, in softwares and other stuffs... Yeah these free opensource softwares are very reliable.

I like open source not just it's free
But because it's more reliable and as the creator can modify it I can do that also
The problem with non-free or close software is the way the creator looks for
As he looks for profits he may ignore the need of the user and try to use lower technology to have more profits

open source have same functionality as paid . so why invest money for paid as we got same thing in free. and in this century if something is free and have some quality then people never excuse to use it. whether it is antivirus, a multimedia player or a complete free source operating system.
