Default hp all in one printer series: Scanner not working

    hi friends,

I have an hp all in one series printer. It was working well for the last one year. From the last three days it is showing some registry error. And honestly, I could not find out still what the actual problem is.

My doubt is if scanner is not working photocopies also should not come/work right?
But it is working I took a copy today too...Please share your valuable thoughts to avoid the service charge..he he
