    Default Not enough memory

    Hi,
I have a weird problem in my system. Whenever I install a new game & then try to run it then I get the error "Not enough memory". But if I restart my PC & run the same game then it works fine.
So what could be the problem?

What operating system does your computer run on ?

How much have you got ?

I would say buy more RAM, when you install a game and use various features on your PC your memory gets allocated to different applications.

But when you restart your computer everything gets flushed so to speak.

Perhabst you can help things by disabling AUTO programs and other applications that you dont need that runs instantly while logging into windows.

You're running out of memory - you should upgrade by purchasing another 1 or 2 gigs.

You can also disable programs that start when windows starts by going to start -> run -> msconfig, and disabling any programs you don't want running.

    This.

At least try to have 1gb of RAM if you're running windows XP or lower, and 3gb for Vista.

You got to take a close look on the slots available on your motherboard and act accordingly. I would also suggest you to upgrade the processor as well. So better sell this motherboard and buy a new one compatible with your new processor.
