Just a reminder here, well i have been a Apple Mac Intel & PPC User for over 10 years now ....
And i have many of my devices running on the firewire 400, daisy chained , like hard drives...Soundcard... etc

Well i few days ago i visited the Apple Mac store for an upgrade of my desktop and my MacBooK Laptop, and to my surprise, guess what......

Mac has decided to do away with the FW400 Ports, and so now Macs come with USB2.0,
And FW800 only.....
so when you decide to buy any kind of hardware with FW400 ports, BE CAREFUL..
For it will not be compatible with your Mac , Thus u might have 2 spend more ?? !!!!
