    Default CPU intel vs AMD

I plan on buying a new desktop.
I need the CPU to have VT function.
So, which is better ? Intel or AMD ?
    Any advice ?

Go with intel, not sure what your reason is for wanting the Intel® Virtualization Technology. Later AMD processors have VT technology as well but you cant go wrong with Intel. It would help if you explained why you need VT technology and for what purpose. My answer is short but hopefully it will help.

I've only had Intel for my processor, and with its satisfying performance and cache memory, I haven't seen any reason for me to shift to or consider other processors. I think Intel would be a safe choice.
