Confused whether to buy a netbook or not...

I have been considering to buy a netbook for basic applications like
-web browsing
-typing and editing documents
-watching movies and listening to music
-downloading stuff(download a lot of movies)

I am considering a Netbook

My prime concerns are:

-How much of multitasking can it handle?
For instance how comfortably can it pull web browsing (with multiple tabs on),editing documents,a download in progress while a movie is running simultaneously?

-Would a netbook be able to pull maximum internet speeds?

Please help me decide if netbook is a good choice at all

Wait before netbooks comes with new intel cpu technology specifically for multitasking and doing several things at the same time. The prices of those are still high so the the best choice would be to wait. You wont have a good time multitasking with one of those intel Atom cpu's, same goes for watching movies.

My advice is either wait or raise your budget. Im sure you will get disappointed if you get the Model I8B11D4 with the ATOM processors with a hope of multitasking, watching movies and downloading much.

Well if i will advice than if you have little use of system than you can have netbook. And if you have to work more than 2 hours per day than you should have to buy Laptop which will help you more as it has some more configuration.
