    Default Best hard Drive Brand

I am planning on buying a new hard drive for another computer of mine. May I know if you have any good suggestions on which hard drive brand should I get? Western Digital, Fijitsu, Maxtor or Seagate?

I have used all the popular brands till now.
I feel there is not much difference between either of them till it works properly.

Real difference comes when you face a problem and require support. Seagate is best when it comes to providing customer support. Samsung comes to be second best.

I agree with your suggestion as there is no problem while using any hard drives. All work smoothly until they are damaged. If they stop working then only the real problem starts to repair it from the company service center.I agree Segate to be the best.

I think no one will check brands on hard drives coz they cant be numb. All hard drives are good and similar in quality

Yeah. With hard drives, I wouldn't really worry about brands unless you're afraid that your HDD is going to be damaged or defective. Most HDD's work exactly the same and there is no real difference besides memory capacity, aesthetics, and actual physical size.

Mate there is nothing compared to a LACIE, though its price might differ from the rest of the hard drives available in the market, i have been a user of all the drives u specified above and id say 1st is the LACIE, then Segate, Then WD... & MAXTOR..... last
