    Default How to recover data?

I have (or had!) a seagate external hard disk of 40Gb,

It accidentaly slipped from my hand, and fell on ground. Its not broken but i cant access the data.

Is there any way to recover my data? I had some imp documents inside it

Try the disk reader and use it in a laptop. That can help you to access the files in the hard disk.

Try the disk reader to open it in the laptop and then you can recover any data that was in the HDD.

If the drive is physically broken, nothing can get back data.

if u can feel the drive clocking, when u power it on and touch ur palm on it gently...
there is a way to rescue your data, but if it is totally dead when u boot it up....there is none
Then chances are 70% - 80% if u can feel the spincycle of the Harddrive....else 0%

I would suggest you to take your HDD to the professional who will try to recover your data.
There are many software available in the market but it would not be better to risk the data at our own risk.

If the storage disk inside HDD is damaged then data cant be recovered. Otherwise take it to technician to get data.

You can use data recovery software to recover your lost data. But the problem still persists then I would instruct you to take your HDD to the technician.
