I like a few. Mail.com is nice if you want multiple address because they are easily integrated into one mailbox. I like to use my iPhone for personal use, so gmail is my favorite for that; the mail comes to my phone instantly.
My favorite free e-mail service is Gmail. I like the layout, it's easy to navigate and seems to work fast with no problems. Hotmail used to be my favorite, I just don't like the look of it quite as much anymore. My least favorite of the major ones is Yahoo.

I just recently tried mail.com, and it looked fine, but I had no idea it was good for multiple addresses. That's something that would be useful for me, since I do like to have a few for different purposes. My wife has an iPhone, and I think her yahoo mail goes directly to it, but I'm not sure. I'll tell her gmail works well for that, in case she'd be interested. Thanks for the good information.
Gmail used to be my favorite free email provider. Like what you said, it's user-friendly and clean-looking, none of those cluttered look which others have...I wasn't a fan of Yahoo before, but recently they introduced Yahoo Mail Beta and I'm actually beginning to like it...For me, the interface is appealing and more importantly it runs faster than the previous version. Plus you it allows you to link your account to Facebook and Twitter so you can see updates from these social media sites...
I'm a Yahoo man, always have been, although I've begun experimenting with other email providers. Mail.com is nice and it's easy to pop off several different addys if needed. Gmail is nice and seems quicker than the others.
I've got several. I like both mail.com and gmail but if you are in the UK freeola.co.uk is excellent and supports multiple addresses some of which are quite quirky like @britishintelligence.co.uk, very cool!
My favorite is Gmail followed hotmail. They have essential features with some security. I have a yahoo mail but I don't like the interface, the mail section mixed up with the search part of yahoo, no distinction.
I use yahoo on a generally basis, and it has not failed to disappoint many times. Glitches, errors, and not very good against spam are some of the many things that got me mad at it. Still, it's my main email provider, and it's hard to jump from one to another. And i'm also using the messenger on a regular basis, because, at least in here, everybody uses yahoo! messenger.

Hotmail used to be my favorite, I just don't like the look of it quite as much anymore. My least favorite of the major ones is Gmail. As for me, getting mails it so slow.
