Searchmetrics Essentials SEO Tools lets you research keywords and see how and what your competition do in both adwords, organic search, social networks and their visibility. Searchmetrics is a service for web publishers, webmasters, organizations, agencies and enterprises with various plans and led by Searchmetrics, GmbH.

Searchmetrics Summary

Searchmetrics, a reputable SEO and SEM software provider, offers two useful and worth-every-dime solutions for online businesses that are looking at a better future: Searchmetrics Suite and Searchmetrics Essentials. The former is a comprehensive web tool that allows web developers to funnel massive traffic to a website through the use of relevant information and decision-making tools. On the other hand, the latter is a highly configurable system that showcases tools that every newbie web developer needs.

These two pieces of software are very powerful in their own rights, allowing users to know the landscape of the SEO and SEM games without employing the help of experts. The Suite is available in three different packages—Basic, Premium, and Ultimate—each of which provides all the necessary tools for all types of web developers. Essentials gives more flexibility on which features the user will find more useful, such as reports, keyword database, and export credits, among others.

Searchmetrics Features

Getting Searchmetrics Suite is like having a rank checker, data aggregator, and search analytics tool in one full software. The program allows the user to know the scoring and details of domains, and it has a keyword page optimizer, a link manager, a hub finder, integrated web analytics, and visibility checker. It allows detailed comparison of paid and organic search results, as well as universal and social visibility. It can even process blended search results of videos, images, news, and maps, and the program is said to be the only database with coverage on B2B keywords.

When it comes to analyzing data from domains, the program delivers in-depth audit results and clear steps for enhancing website visibility. More to that, it continually monitors all relevant data happening in search engines and adapts to the latest Internet technologies. Also, it lets the user know the performance of keywords and domains on a global level. Administration is only for one user for all packages, but additional users can benefit from it in Ultimate and Premium packages.

If you are looking for all-in-one software to give you reports, data, and analysis support, Searchmetrics Essentials can give you all of that. You can choose to have the SEO plus SEM module, or leave out or add the Social module in the selection. The $99-per-month subscription fee can really go up if you include a dashboard for customizing reports for your clients, a humongous keyword database (and you can request for more information by ordering), and export credits for data downloading. Essentials is a good program to help you analyze your competition closely using massive historical data.

Searchmetrics Reporting

There is no way that the user will have a headache looking at the data presented by Searchmetrics Suite and Essentials. Data presentation is very clean and simple, with only the necessary bits of details available on the screen. The program uses the appropriate type of presentation method—bar graphs, line graphs, pies, tables—to help the user have a clearer picture of the search engine endeavor. The color is generally white, which is only breached by occasional red fonts against green fonts, or orange, yellow, and green pie pieces to distinguish one block of data from another. The overall look is easy to the eyes, and it definitely directs you to the more important aspects you need to put your attention to.

Searchmetrics Review

Power and simplicity is what these two web tools are all about. You can surely take the better steps for your website’s success and never worry about the quality of data and reports provided to you. Of course, with a monthly support available for a maximum of two hours for the Ultimate package, there is no reason to get lost when using these two programs. Although the price can be quite high, between $99 and $1,325, just imagine how many steps ahead you can get from your competition knowing these bits of relevant information about keywords and search engines.

I just did a free trial of Searchmetrics Suite Basic and I must admit that it's got a lot of information packed into it. However, this is the most expensive service I've tried so far and I'm really not sure that it's worth that much unless you are a big corporation making major profits.

It starts at $398 per month and that's only to monitor 3 domains and up to 100 keywords. Anyone who does SEO will tell you that 100 keywords is just a drop in the bucket. You can get all the same info for far less, although you may need to use two or three programs to do it.

Another thing, navigating searchmetrics and their products is somewhat confusing, at first I wasnt able to find any other plans than the suite but after testing the trial and revisiting the site I noticed the search metrics essentials which seems to be more for webmaster Joe.

$99 for SEO & SEM and $199 for social media or $298 for both / month. Im going to take a closer look at the $99 package which seem to work better with my wallet.

So be sure to look for searchmetrics essentials and not the suite unless you need a corporate plan.

Searchmetrics is too expensive for the average webmaster

I would highly recommend only using the free version of this software. This company has double charged us, and when we cancelled they have kept charging us. It's extremely hard getting out of your "monthly" service with them as they give you the runaround. It's really too bad they do this because the tools are quite good. At the end of the day though other ones which are quite less money are just as good, and you don't have to deal with them taking money from you when you no longer use the service. I really hope they get their act together.
