I think my favorite thing about NameCheap is that I always find a coupon code to use to save on my registrations. Although the registration is a small expense, as a business owner I think it's always good to find ways to cut any expenses. You get a free year of privacy with NameCheap and renewing that privacy is not expensive at all, compared to many places. It's easy to change your DNS or anything else about your domains, too. I've only had to call once but the tech took care of the problem before I even hung up the phone, so support is good with them.

I recently bought a couple of domains through Namecheap, even though I normally use GoDaddy. There were two reasons for this. The first is that there was a great price available with a coupon code and the second is that I got free private registration for a year. Being involved with several niches, I need to make sure people don't connect my several pen-names, so private registration has become a necessity. Namecheap doesn't have nearly as many upsells as GoDaddy, which are what tends to annoy many people, so the checkout process was quick and painless. I haven't had to use support, so gave it a 4 rating, just based on what I've heard. Their normal prices are good, but look around before buying as they offer frequent codes to save more.
