DNS is a huge timesaver and productivity booster!

I am a writer but my typing speed of only 60 wpm limited how much I could produce in one day. I was hesitant to buy Dragon Naturally Speaking, even though it was recommended to me several times. I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with training the software. I came across DNS 11 on sale with a $30 rebate on top of that so at that point I figured I didn't have much to lose to give it a try. I'm glad I did.

The training time was very minimal for me and the only things still “iffy” are place or people names, which is to be expected really. Now, instead of only 1-2 pages per hour, I can do 5-6. Huge increase in productivity! The only reason I didn't give DNS 5 stars across the board is that it doesn't always work well with my system as it tells me that it can't “hear” me.

Lifesaver

If I didn't have this software, I'd be making a lot less money right now. I'm not exaggerating, believe me. I build a lot of websites and create a lot of content for those websites. Without DNS, I would not be able to produce half of what I can with it.

Training took about two weeks, if I remember correctly, but after that, I can spit out thousands of words in minutes. I do wish that I didn't have to voice the punctuation as I tend to forget as I get talking.

The only major issue I have with DNS is that I've not been at all impressed with their service. I've had to contact support three times since owning this and every time took several days to get a response. That's unacceptable to me.
